The Opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor, HR & Data Operations, the HR Assistant provides support to the Human Resources department across a range of HR functions and administrative tasks. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a high level of confidentiality. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), organizational ability, attention to detail, and proficiency in information systems and records management are essential.
The HR Assistant must demonstrate broad knowledge of human resources policies and practices and apply tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive matters. Familiarity with post-secondary environments and academic policies is considered an asset. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather and consolidate feedback, while independently managing workflows to ensure timelines are met and processes are followed. A proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities are key to success in this role

Please note that this is a temporary position that requires full-time in-office attendance.

Paid Leave: 4 Weeks Vacation / 14 Flex Days per year
