The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting a casual contract instructor to facilitate the following courses in the full-time program, taught synchronously:
- LIBR315 (Services Children & Young Adults) in the fall semester
- LIBR323 (Managing Digital Content), MKTG360 (Library Marketing) and MMGT350 (Information Management Administration) in the winter semester

Reporting to the Academic Chair, you will be a self-starter, have a passion for facilitating applied learning for others as well as a passion for lifelong learning. You will professionally facilitate the learning process of the students and support students in achieving established learning outcomes to the maximum of their potential.  You will make use of any and all available resources, methods, techniques and strategies to ensure student success.  You are expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a student-centered learning environment which is pedagogically sound, technically supported and innovative in nature. You must be able to demonstrate excellence in your communication skills, organizational skills and have the ability to function in a collaborative team environment. 

Note: SAIT, as a post-secondary institution, serves a diverse student population. Therefore, instructional duties may occasionally be required during early mornings, evenings, and weekends. If selected, specific scheduling arrangements will be discussed between you and the leader.
